FAQ

How do I create a tournament?

From the home screen, add your players (one name per line, you can paste a whole list), choose the number of available courts and the scoring format, then tap "Generate rounds".

How many players can I add for free?

Up to 8 players per tournament, with no limit on the number of tournaments created, for free and without an account. Beyond that (up to 32 players) and for several tournaments in the same week, the Rondo Premium subscription is required.

How does the Americano rotation work?

Rondo automatically generates the rounds by rotating players and courts so everyone plays with and against as many different partners as possible over the course of the tournament.

How do I enter a score?

On the live tournament screen, tap the relevant match, enter each team's score, then confirm. The ranking updates automatically.

Is Rondo Premium a subscription?

Yes, monthly or yearly, with automatic renewal. No free trial is offered: the amount is charged immediately upon purchase.

I already have a subscription, how do I restore it?

From the subscription screen, tap "Restore purchases". Your subscription will be recognized on all devices signed in with the same Apple account.

How do I cancel my subscription?

From Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Does Rondo work without an internet connection?

Yes. Creating a tournament, generating rounds, and entering scores all work offline. A connection is only used for anonymous analytics and to process a subscription purchase.

Common issues

The app won't open

Force close it and restart your iPhone. Update iOS and the app.

My tournament disappeared

Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored on the device (no iCloud backup in version 1).
