Privacy Policy - Trimio
Last updated: 2026-08-16
1. Who we are
Trimio (the "App") is an iOS tax-estimation app for self-employed workers ("autónomos") in Spain, published by an independent developer. The App is distributed on the App Store under the name Trimio.
2. Data collected
Trimio requires no account or sign-up. The information you enter (income and expense movements, amounts, VAT rates, withholdings, categories, notes, monthly RETA fee, receipt photos) is stored locally on your device using SwiftData, with no connection to any API, bank, or Spanish Tax Agency service.
In addition, the App collects pseudonymized usage events through PostHog (see section 4), solely for product-improvement statistics. No amount, tax data, or user-entered content is ever sent to PostHog.
3. Tax estimates
The IVA (modelo 303) and IRPF (modelo 130) calculations shown by Trimio are informational estimates generated locally from the data you enter. They are never transmitted to the AEAT or any third party. You are responsible for verifying these figures before filing your tax return.
4. Trackers and advertising
Trimio uses PostHog as its only analytics SDK, to record pseudonymized usage events (for example: app opened, onboarding completed, a movement saved, a quarter's detail opened, PDF or CSV export, paywall shown, Trimio Premium purchased). These events never include amounts, tax categories, or any content from your movements.
PostHog data is hosted on European Union servers (eu.posthog.com) and processed on a pseudonymized basis, never linked to your civil identity. Trimio contains no advertising network and no other third-party tracking SDK.
5. Aggregated or anonymized data
The usage events described in section 4 may be analyzed in aggregated, anonymized form to understand overall App usage, without identifying any individual user.
6. User rights (GDPR)
Since the tax data you enter stays only on your device, you can exercise your rights directly:
- View your data: it is visible and editable at any time within the App.
- Delete your data: uninstall the App from your iPhone to erase all local data.
- PostHog data: to request access, rectification, or deletion of the pseudonymized events tied to your use of the App, write to alexandre-paul@outlook.com.
7. Minors
The App is aimed at self-employed workers registered with the Spanish social security system and is not intended for use by minors.
8. Changes to this policy
Any material change to this policy will be reflected in the update date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, communicated through App Store release notes.
