FAQ
How does Routino work?
Routino shows the steps of a routine (morning or evening) as large pictograms, one at a time, with a visual timer and a check mark for each completed step. At the end, the child earns a star.
Is my data or my child's photos shared with anyone?
No. All data, including photos you add, stays only in the app's sandbox on the device. Nothing is transmitted to a server or a third party.
How does my child exit Child Mode?
A long press on a hidden corner of the screen lets an adult exit Child Mode. This gesture is deliberately different from a simple tap, to prevent an accidental exit by the child.
How do I delete all data?
Uninstall the app. All local data, including photos and child profiles, is removed with it.
Why does Routino ask for photo access?
Only if you choose to illustrate a step with a personal photo of your child instead of a pictogram. Optional, a Premium feature.
Why does Routino ask permission to send notifications?
For optional routine reminders. Optional and purely local.
