Privacy Policy — Accueil Visiteurs
Last updated: September 4, 2026
1. Summary
Accueil Visiteurs is a visitor register application that runs primarily locally on the iPhone or iPad used by the organization at reception. Data entered about a visitor (name, company, reason for visit, photo, signature) is never transmitted to or shared with Alexandre Paul or any third party.
2. Data collected
Accueil Visiteurs stores the following information, only on the device used at the reception desk:
| Data | Storage | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Visitor name | SwiftData (local) | Identification in the register |
| Visitor company | SwiftData (local) | Register, filters, export |
| Reason for visit | SwiftData (local) | Register |
| Person visited | SwiftData (local) | Register |
| Arrival and departure time | SwiftData (local) | Register, statistics |
| Visitor photo (Premium, optional) | SwiftData (local) | Enhanced identification at reception |
| Electronic signature (Premium, optional) | SwiftData (local) | Proof of visit |
| Admin settings (company name, logo, welcome message, accent color, PIN code, retention period) | SwiftData / UserDefaults (local) | Kiosk mode customization |
3. App usage analytics
Accueil Visiteurs uses PostHog to anonymously and in aggregate measure general app usage (for example: app opened, kiosk mode enabled, Premium subscription started). These measurements only cover use of the application itself, never the content of logged visits: no visitor name, company, reason, photo or signature is ever sent to PostHog. This does not constitute advertising tracking under Apple's privacy policy.
4. Data not collected
Accueil Visiteurs does not collect:
- Your advertising identifier (IDFA);
- GPS location data;
- Administrator contact information;
- Visit data (name, company, reason, photo, signature) for advertising or resale purposes.
5. Photo and Face ID/Touch ID
The camera is used only, if you enable the corresponding Premium option, to capture a visitor's photo at sign-in; that photo stays stored locally. Face ID/Touch ID is used only to secure access to the app's admin panel; no biometric data is collected, transmitted or stored by Accueil Visiteurs — authentication is handled entirely by iOS.
6. Network
Accueil Visiteurs does not contact any server for the register's core functionality: no user account, no backend storage of visit data. Only the anonymized usage measurements described in section 3 travel over the network, to PostHog.
7. Exports
When you use the CSV export feature (Premium), the file is generated locally on the device. You alone choose who to share it with via the native iOS share sheet. Alexandre Paul has no access to the destination you choose.
8. Backups
Your data may be backed up via iCloud Backup or Finder if you have enabled these iOS features on the device used. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not Accueil Visiteurs'.
9. Responsibility of the using organization
The organization using Accueil Visiteurs to log its visitors acts as the data controller for the personal data entered in the app (name, company, reason, photo, signature). It is responsible for complying with GDPR or any other applicable local regulation, including informing visitors and setting an appropriate retention period. The app provides a data retention period setting for this purpose (Premium).
10. Rights
Since visit data lives on the organization's device, it can at any time:
- View and filter the visit history in the register;
- Delete individual visits;
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app or via the purge tied to the configured retention period.

12. Compliance
This application is designed to be compatible with:
- GDPR, with responsibility for visit data processing resting with the using organization;
- Apple's App Store Review Guidelines regarding privacy;
- The
PrivacyInfo.xcprivacyfile declaring the data categories and APIs used by the application.
Accueil Visiteurs is not affiliated with any organization, administration or regulatory authority. It does not replace any specific legal obligations that may apply to your organization regarding security registers or access control.
