How does Parzelle work?

Parzelle helps you track your German allotment garden (Kleingarten): an indicative calculation of the Drittelregelung (one-third rule), a sowing calendar adapted to your climate zone, community work hours tracking, and a garden journal.

Is the Drittelregelung calculation guaranteed to be compliant?

No. The value shown is an indicative reference (Richtwert). Only your allotment association (Kleingartenverein) or the competent authority can confirm final compliance during the inspection visit (Begehung).

Is my data shared?

No. All data stays on your iPhone, and optionally in your own iCloud account if you enable sync. Parzelle never sends personal data to a developer server.

How do I delete all my data?

Uninstall the app. If you use iCloud, also remove the data via iPhone Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Parzelle.

How do I export the inspection compliance dossier (Begehungs-PDF)?

From the Drittel-Check screen, use the "Begehungs-PDF erstellen" button. This feature is part of Parzelle Pro (subscription).

How does the Parzelle Pro subscription work?

Two tiers: yearly at €9.99 (with a 7-day free trial) or monthly at €1.99. Cancellable anytime from Settings > [Your name] > Subscriptions on your device.

Common issues

The app does not open

Force-quit the app and restart your iPhone. If the problem persists, update iOS and the app via the App Store.

My data appears to be missing

Uninstalling the app removes all local data. Make sure you're on the right device and, if you use iCloud, signed in with the same Apple ID.

The sowing calendar plant list doesn't match my region

The sowing windows shown are a national baseline (central Germany), shifted by about one month for northern and southern Germany based on your postal code. Always adapt these guidelines to the real conditions of your local microclimate.
