FAQ

How does Mekix work?

Mekix is a car maintenance logbook: store your vehicles, service events (oil change, inspection, etc.), mileage, costs and invoice photos.

Is my data shared?

No. All data stays in the app's sandbox on your iPhone. If you enable iCloud sync (off by default), data travels through your own Apple iCloud account; Alexandre Paul has no access.

How do I delete all my data?

Uninstall the app. If you used iCloud, also remove the data via iPhone Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Mekix.

How do I export my data?

In the app Settings, use "Export my data" to get a JSON file, or use the share feature to generate a PDF.

Why does Mekix ask for camera / photo library access?

To photograph or import vehicle invoices and documents. Optional.

Why does Mekix ask permission to send notifications?

For local maintenance reminders (inspection, oil change, etc.). Optional.

Common issues

The app does not open

Restart your iPhone. Update iOS and the app.

My data is not syncing between devices

Verify that iCloud sync is enabled in Mekix Settings on both devices and that you are signed into the same Apple ID.

Notifications are not delivered

Check Settings > Notifications > Mekix.
