1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing or using the Kargo application (the "App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Service description

Kargo is an iOS mobile application for moving inventory: it lets you list moving boxes (contents, photos, voice notes) and receive local reminders for milestones around your move.

3. License

Alexandre Paul grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the App on iOS devices you own or control. This license is also subject to Apple's standard end-user license agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

4. In-app purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases or subscriptions may be offered in the future. They will be handled by Apple's App Store under its own terms. Refunds are handled by Apple.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for illegal purposes, not to reverse-engineer the App, and not to use it in a way that could harm any system.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its code, graphics, name and visual identity belong to Alexandre Paul. The content you enter (labels, photos, dictations, notes) remains your exclusive property.

7. Speech recognition (SFSpeechRecognizer)

Kargo uses Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer API to convert your voice dictation to text. Depending on your iPhone configuration, Apple may process part of your speech on its servers. This processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy. The requiresOnDeviceRecognition option is enabled when the device supports it.

8. No warranty

The App is provided "as is", without express or implied warranty of fitness, absence of errors or continuity of service. You use it at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law (French law governing), Alexandre Paul's liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the App (zero if free). Alexandre Paul shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Personal data

Data handling is described in the Kargo Privacy Policy. The App runs locally on your device.

11. Changes to these terms

Alexandre Paul may update these terms. The most recent version will be made available through the App or its App Store page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, subject to applicable consumer protection rules. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
