Why doesn't Escapo ask for my location?

Escapo works purely from the starting and destination addresses you enter. It's a pre-trip planning tool, not a driving GPS.

Does Escapo remember my past trips?

No. Each trip is calculated on demand and not saved. Close and reopen the app to start with a blank trip.

Where do the fuel prices come from?

From the official French site data.economie.gouv.fr, updated every 10 minutes by the stations themselves. Escapo does not alter these prices.

How does the discovery (swipe) mode work?

After entering your trip, Escapo suggests tourist spots along your route. Swipe right to add it as a stop, left to skip. You can view the itinerary at any time, even without swiping through everything.

Does Escapo work outside France?

No, the data sources used (fuel prices, speed cameras, Bison Futé traffic alerts) are specific to mainland France.

Does Escapo have a subscription?

No, the app is entirely free.
