What is Calio?

Calio is a nutrition tracking app. Describe what you eat (text, voice, or photo), and AI estimates the calories and nutritional composition.

How does the subscription work?

Calio offers a Calio Premium subscription at 9.99 EUR/month with a 3-day free trial. Manage it from Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your device.

Are my meal descriptions and photos shared?

They are sent to Google Gemini for the duration of processing your request, to calculate the nutritional estimate. They are not retained on our servers beyond that processing. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I delete my data?

Your food journal is stored only on your device. Uninstall the app to permanently erase all your local data.

Are the calorie estimates reliable?

They are AI-generated estimates, not medical or dietary advice. The more precise your description, the more reliable the estimate. Calio displays a confidence level and may ask questions to refine it.
