Privacy Policy — Trajeo

1. Summary

Trajeo is an accompanied-driving logbook application. Your logbook is stored on your iPhone and is never sent to a server owned by the developer. Two exceptions, detailed below: anonymous usage metrics used to improve the app, and iCloud, which syncs your logbook across your devices and lets you share it with another supervisor if you turn that on yourself.

2. Data stored

Trajeo records the following information. Everything above the last two rows stays on your device; the last two describe the only data that leaves it:

3. Data NOT collected

Trajeo does not collect:

  • GPS location
  • Advertising identifier (IDFA), and no ad tracking of any kind
  • Your name, email address or any data that identifies you
  • Biometric data
  • Your contacts
  • The content of your drives: usage metrics record that a drive was added, never what it contains

4. Network

Trajeo has no server and no account of its own. The app only communicates with:

  • PostHog (usage metrics, hosted in the European Union): pseudonymous events tied to a random identifier generated by the app and never linked to your identity. No ad tracking: the app manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking as false.
  • iCloud (CloudKit), an Apple service: your logbook syncs inside your private Apple Account and, if you share a logbook, through Apple's shared database with the person you invited. The developer has no access to any of it.
  • The App Store: purchase and renewal of the Trajeo+ subscription, handled by Apple.

5. Exports

When you use the export feature (PDF or CSV), the file is generated locally in your iPhone's temporary directory. You alone choose who to share it with via the native iOS share sheet. Trajeo has no access to the destination you choose.

6. Backups

Your data may be backed up via iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder if you have enabled those iOS features. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not by Trajeo's.

7. Your rights

Since all data lives on your device, you may at any time:

  • Edit your information in the Settings tab
  • Delete individual sessions from the logbook
  • Delete all data by uninstalling the app

9. Compliance

This application complies with:

  • GDPR
  • Apple's App Store Review Guidelines on privacy
  • The PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest, which declares the collection of product interaction data and a device identifier for analytics purposes, not linked to your identity and without tracking

10. Legal basis, processors and objection (GDPR)

Usage metrics rely on the developer's legitimate interest in improving the app. The processors are PostHog (usage analytics, hosted in the European Union) and Apple (iCloud, App Store). To request deletion of the usage metrics associated with your device, write to alexandre-paul@outlook.com. Your drives stay on your iPhone and in your Apple Account: deleting them in the app or uninstalling it erases them.

Trajeo is not an official application and is not affiliated with any driving school or with the French ONISR. It does not replace the administrative obligations of the French accompanied driving programme (AAC / supervised driving).
