Summary

The data you enter in Tablo (guests, seating plan, wedding-day timeline) is stored on your device. Tablo also uses an anonymous usage-analytics tool (PostHog) to improve the app, described below.

1. Who we are

Tablo ("Tablo: Seating Plan & Wedding Day") is an iOS mobile app for wedding planning, distributed by an independent developer, Alexandre Paul. Contact: alexandre-paul@outlook.com.

2. Data stored on your device

The following is stored in the app's storage, on your iPhone, and only leaves the device when you choose to share it (by message, email or export) or via your personal iCloud backup:

3. Sharing the timeline and the seating plan

When you share the wedding-day timeline or the seating plan, Tablo prepares a text or a document (image, PDF) and opens your iPhone's share sheet. You choose the recipient and the channel (Messages, email, WhatsApp, etc.). Tablo hosts no sharing server and creates no public link.

4. System permissions

Tablo may request access to the camera, only if you choose to add a photo to a guest. No other system permission is required.

5. Anonymous usage analytics (PostHog)

Tablo uses PostHog to understand how the app is used and improve it. PostHog is an open-source tool, hosted on European (EU) servers, GDPR-compliant.

Data collected: anonymous usage events (actions taken, screens viewed), app version, device type, iOS version.
Data not collected: name, email, phone number, location, advertising identifier (IDFA), your guests' names.

This data is tied to a random identifier generated at install, which cannot identify you. It is never used for advertising nor shared with third parties. No ad network, no other tracking tool.

6. Retention and deletion

You can delete a wedding at any time from the app: this erases the corresponding data. Uninstalling the app removes all data stored on the device.

7. Minors

Tablo does not specifically target minors and collects no sensitive data. The app is suitable for general use.

8. Changes

In case of a substantial change to this policy, the update date at the top of this document will be revised.
