1. Summary

Syndo helps volunteer property managers run their building: units and ownership shares, charges, funding calls, general meetings, arrears, legal deadlines and documents. The data you enter is stored locally on your device. The app only collects anonymous usage data to improve the experience.

2. Data collected

Syndo stores your management data exclusively on your device using SwiftData (a local database protected by iOS): building (name, address, separate account IBAN), units, ownership shares, cost split keys, charges, budget, funding calls, payments, owner balances, resolutions and meeting minutes, deadlines, works fund, maintenance log, and the owner contact details you enter (name, email, phone).

This data is never sent to a developer server, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising. It only leaves your device if you export it yourself (funding call PDF, minutes, statement, schedules, letters) or through your personal iCloud backup. Deleting the app permanently erases all local data.

Anonymous usage data

We use PostHog to improve the app. PostHog only collects anonymous events (screens viewed, usage actions), the app version, device type and iOS version. This data is tied to a random identifier generated locally, with no link to your identity. PostHog never receives your building's content: not owner names, not amounts, not minutes.

3. Permissions

Syndo may ask permission to send notifications, only to remind you of your legal deadlines (notice, meeting, calls, minutes). This permission is requested only on your explicit action and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings. The app does not request camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts or health data.

4. In-app purchases

Syndo offers an optional subscription, Syndo Premium, managed by Apple through StoreKit. Payment is processed by Apple under its own terms; the developer receives no banking data.

5. Third-party services

The app uses PostHog (posthog.com) for the anonymous usage analytics described above. Data is hosted in the European Union and processing complies with the GDPR. PostHog receives no personal data and no information that could identify you.

No advertising tracker, no social network integration, no third-party monetization SDK.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Since your management data is stored locally on your device and no identifiable personal data is sent to our infrastructure, we hold no data about you. You exercise your rights of access, rectification and erasure directly from the app or by uninstalling it.

7. Nature of the tool

Syndo is a management aid. It assists you with calculating splits, majorities and deadlines, but it is your responsibility to check your documents before sending them.

8. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13.
