Terms of Use — Streetfishing

1. Acceptance

By using Streetfishing ("the App"), you accept these terms of use. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

2. Service description

Streetfishing is an iOS fishing log app: session tracking, catch journal (species, size, weight, lure, photo), map-saved spots, favorable barometric pressure window and personal statistics.

3. License

Alexandre Paul grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license. Also subject to Apple's standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

4. In-app purchases and subscriptions

The app offers a Streetfishing Premium subscription (monthly plan), which unlocks unlimited spots, full session history and cross lure/timing statistics. Session tracking, the spot map (limited number) and the basic catch log remain available for free, without a subscription.

Payment is charged to your App Store account upon purchase confirmation. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, for the same amount. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Purchases can be restored from the app.

5. Acceptable use

No illegal use, no reverse engineering, no bypassing of protections. You are responsible for the information you enter (catches, spots, photos) and for complying with local fishing regulations (licenses, minimum sizes, permitted seasons).

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design and original content belong to Alexandre Paul. The data you enter (catches, spots, photos) remains your property.

7. Third-party services

The App queries the public services Open-Meteo (weather data) and GBIF (biodiversity data) for its pressure window and species confirmation features. These services are provided by third parties independent of Alexandre Paul; their availability is not guaranteed.

8. No warranty

The App is provided "as is", with no warranty of error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose. Weather, atmospheric pressure or species presence data are provided for informational purposes only and guarantee no fishing outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by French law, Alexandre Paul's liability is limited to the price paid for the App or subscription. No liability shall be incurred for indirect damages, nor for fishing decisions (location, timing, regulations) made based on information displayed in the App.

10. Personal data

See the Streetfishing privacy policy. Your fishing data (catches, spots, photos) is stored exclusively on your device.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

French law. French courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
