What is Streetfishing?

Streetfishing is a fishing log: session tracking, catch journal (species, size, weight, lure, photo), map-saved spots, favorable barometric pressure window and statistics.

How do I start a session?

From the home screen, start a fishing session. At the end, a recap is shown (duration, catches, associated spot).

How do I log a catch?

During an active session, add a catch with species, size, weight, lure used and, if you want, a photo.

How does the pressure window work?

The app queries the public Open-Meteo weather service with your position to estimate whether atmospheric pressure is currently favorable for fishing.

Is Streetfishing Premium a subscription?

Yes, Streetfishing Premium is a monthly subscription that unlocks unlimited spots, full session history and cross lure/timing statistics. Session tracking, a limited number of spots and the basic catch log remain free without a subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions, then Streetfishing Premium.

Is my data shared?

Your catches, spots and photos stay stored on your device and are never sent to a developer server. Only your approximate position is sent anonymously and on a one-off basis to Open-Meteo (weather) and GBIF (species confirmation) — see the privacy policy for details.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstall the app: deletion of local data (catches, spots, photos) is permanent. Check your iCloud backup if you had it enabled.
