Terms of Use — Sport Canicule

1. Acceptance

By using Sport Canicule (the "App"), you accept these terms of use. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

2. Service Description

Sport Canicule is an app that helps you exercise outdoors (running, cycling, trail running) safely during hot weather periods. It computes safe time windows from your declared athlete health profile and local weather conditions, calculates a hydration plan, and can alert you if conditions deteriorate during an active session.

3. License

Alexandre Paul grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license. Also subject to Apple's standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

4. In-App Purchases and Subscription

The app offers a Sport Canicule Premium subscription, monthly or yearly, with no hidden free trial: price, billing period, and first charge date are clearly displayed before any payment, plans shown side by side.

Payment is charged to your App Store account upon subscribing. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, for the same amount. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Prices are shown in your local currency and may vary by region.

5. Nature of the Information Provided

The time windows, scores, and alerts shown by Sport Canicule are estimates computed from public weather data and the information you declare during onboarding. They do not constitute medical advice or a medical device, and may contain margins of error. Sport Canicule must never be used as the sole tool for managing a medical condition (asthma, heart condition): consult a healthcare professional for any decision related to your medical condition and physical activity.

6. Acceptable Use

No unlawful use, no reverse engineering, no bypassing of protections. You are solely responsible for the decision to exercise outdoors, including when relying on information displayed by the App.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and original content belong to Alexandre Paul. Data you enter (profile, session history) remains your property and is stored on your device.

8. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is", without warranty of error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose, including regarding the accuracy of weather estimates, time windows, or alerts.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by French law, Alexandre Paul's liability is limited to the amount paid for the subscription over the past 12 months. No liability for indirect or consequential damages, including those resulting from an outdoor exercise decision based on information from the App.
