1. Summary

Shuttlo is a badminton score counting app, usable on iPhone and Apple Watch. It records your matches, scores and statistics. The data you enter is stored locally on your device. The app only collects anonymous usage data (screens viewed, actions taken) to improve the experience.

2. Data collected

Shuttlo stores your data exclusively on your device (iPhone and Apple Watch). It is never sent to a developer server, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising. It only leaves your device through your personal iCloud backup. Deleting the app permanently erases all local data.

Anonymous usage data

We use PostHog to improve the app. PostHog only collects anonymous events (screens viewed, usage actions), the app version, device type and iOS/watchOS version. This data is tied to a random, locally generated identifier with no link to your identity. PostHog never receives the content you enter (scores, opponent names).

3. iPhone / Apple Watch sync

When you score a match on Apple Watch, the score is sent live to your iPhone via WatchConnectivity, an Apple technology that only communicates between your own devices signed in with the same Apple ID. No data passes through an external server during this sync.

4. Permissions

The app requests no system permission: no camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts or HealthKit.

5. Third-party services

The app uses PostHog (posthog.com) for the anonymous usage analytics described above. Data is hosted in Europe (EU) and processing is GDPR-compliant. PostHog receives no personal data and no information that could identify you.

No advertising tracker, no social network integration, no third-party monetization SDK.

6. Shuttlo Pro subscription

Purchase and management of the Shuttlo Pro subscription are handled directly by Apple through your App Store account. No payment information is collected or stored by Shuttlo.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Since your data is stored locally on your device and no personally identifiable data is sent to our infrastructure, we hold no data about you. You exercise your rights of access, rectification and erasure directly from the app or by uninstalling it.

8. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13.
