Purpose
Risque Canicule estimates the real feels-like temperature at your location and displays a hyperlocal heat map, based on your personal health profile and public weather/mapping data. By downloading or using the app, you accept these terms.
Nature of the information provided
Displayed temperatures, danger-threshold coloring, the heat map and the multi-day forecast are indicative estimates, computed from public weather data (Open-Meteo) and surrounding land cover (OpenStreetMap). They never replace medical advice nor a measurement from a calibrated device. The app never provides a diagnosis. If in doubt about a health risk for you or a relative, contact a healthcare professional or emergency services without delay.
Subscription (Risque Canicule Premium)
Risque Canicule offers a Premium subscription, available monthly (€3.99/month) or yearly (€24.99/year), with a one-week free trial. The precise feels-like temperature at your location, the "around me" heat map, the 10-day forecast window and the main health profile remain free, no subscription required. Premium unlocks: the time-slider map (see how heat evolves hour by hour over several days), searching an address other than your current location, and tracking multiple profiles (relatives).
Payment is charged to your App Store account upon purchase confirmation, after the free trial period if applicable. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, for the same amount. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Purchases can be restored from within the app.
Location
Risque Canicule uses your location to estimate the real feels-like temperature at your exact position. You are solely responsible for enabling or disabling this permission in your device settings.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Risque Canicule lawfully. You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered in your own health profile and in those of relatives you track.
No warranty and limitation of liability
Risque Canicule is a decision-support tool, provided "as is", with no guarantee of absolute accuracy for the weather estimate or heat map. To the extent permitted by French law, Alexandre Paul's liability is limited to the price paid for the subscription. No liability for indirect or consequential damages, including decisions made solely on the basis of the app's estimates without consulting a healthcare professional when necessary.
Termination
You may stop using Risque Canicule at any time by deleting the app. Subscription cancellation is handled exclusively through Apple's settings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law.
