Summary
Puzzlo is a shelf for your jigsaw puzzle collection. Your shelf, your puzzle photos, your notes, and your loan history stay only in the app's local storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is backed up to a server, and there is no iCloud sync in this version. The app also uses an anonymous usage-analytics tool (PostHog), described below.
1. Who we are
Puzzlo is an iOS app published by an independent developer, Alexandre Paul. Contact: alexandre-paul@outlook.com.
2. Data recorded
You enter your own puzzle collection: titles, brands, piece counts, tags, status, photos, notes, session history, and loan records (who borrowed a puzzle, and when it's due back).
This data is stored only on your device, using local storage (SwiftData). It is not uploaded to any server we control and is not synced to iCloud in this version of the app.
No account is required. We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
3. Photos
You can attach photos of your puzzles from your photo library. Selection goes through Apple's system picker, which only gives the app the images you choose: Puzzlo never gets access to your entire photo library. Selected images are stored with your puzzle data, locally on your device only.
4. Location
Puzzlo does not request your location and does not access any location data.
5. Anonymous usage analytics (PostHog)
Puzzlo sends anonymous product usage events (app opened, puzzle added, session started or completed, shelf pick used, paywall shown, purchase completed) through PostHog, an analytics provider hosted in the European Union.
What is never sent: the content you enter. Your puzzle titles, photos, notes, and loan details described in section 2 never leave your device and are never transmitted to PostHog.
These events are attached to a random technical identifier generated locally on your device, which cannot identify you and is not linked to any account. Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the product (GDPR Article 6.1.f). For any request regarding this data, write to alexandre-paul@outlook.com.
6. Purchases
Puzzlo Premium is an auto-renewable subscription (weekly, monthly, or yearly). Monthly and yearly plans include a 7-day free trial, clearly shown before you commit to anything.
Payments are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. We only receive, from Apple, information about whether your subscription is active.
7. Retention and deletion
Your data stays for as long as you keep it. Deleting a puzzle or a photo in the app deletes it permanently. Uninstalling the app erases all local data. Since there is no server-side copy, deleting the app is the complete deletion of your data.
8. Children
Puzzlo is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data about them.
9. Your rights
Since your content data lives on your device, you keep direct control over it at all times (view, edit, delete). For the anonymous usage events described above, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection by writing to alexandre-paul@outlook.com.

This policy may evolve. The "last updated" date at the top of the page is authoritative.
