Summary
Nannly does not send any personal data to a server we own. The families, children, shifts, log entries and payments you enter stay stored locally on your device (SwiftData). Only anonymous usage metrics (PostHog) and purchase operations (StoreKit, handled by Apple) leave the device.
1. Who we are
Nannly is an iOS mobile application for tracking nanny hours and pay (nanny / in-home childcare provider), distributed by an independent developer.
2. Data collected
Nannly does not run any proprietary server that stores your data. The only data stored is:

None of this data is sent to a server we own. It stays on your device, unless you enable Apple-managed sync (iCloud).
3. Money amounts processed by the app (important, different from Nannix)
Unlike Nannix (a simple hours counter that processes no money amount), Nannly does process real money amounts: hourly rate, tips, reimbursed mileage, estimated pay totals, payment history. These calculations happen locally on your device, from the data you enter.
Nannly remains an estimation tool. The App is not a filed payroll service or a tax/social compliance software. See the corresponding section of the Terms of Use for the full limits (no legal or tax advice, no official filing).
4. Analytics (PostHog)
Nannly sends anonymous usage events to PostHog (EU hosting, eu.i.posthog.com) to understand overall app usage and improve it: app opened, clock in/out, invoice generated, paywall shown, subscription purchased or restored, etc. These events contain no child first name, no family name, no money amount and no daily log content.
5. Purchases and subscription (StoreKit)
Nannly offers an optional yearly subscription ("Nannly Plus") fully handled by Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit / App Store). Nannly never receives, stores or processes any payment information (card number, Apple ID credentials, etc.): that information is handled exclusively by Apple. Nannly only receives a technical confirmation of subscription status (active or not) to unlock premium features.
6. Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync in the App settings, your data is synced via your own Apple iCloud account (private CloudKit) across your personal devices. This sync is fully managed by Apple. We have no access to this data. iCloud is disabled by default.
7. System permissions
Nannly may request authorization to send local notifications (clock-out reminder, daily or weekly recap). These notifications are generated and handled entirely by iOS on your device. No other system permission (camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts) is required for the core features.
8. Exports (PDF invoice)
PDF invoices generated by Nannly (shift recap, amounts, tips, mileage) are produced locally on your device. Sharing happens via the iOS share sheet, at your initiative. Nannly has no access to recipients. Every PDF invoice generated by the App carries the notice "Estimates only, not legal or tax advice."
9. Trackers and advertising
No advertising network, no third-party ad SDK. Only the anonymous usage metrics described in section 4 are sent. The NSPrivacyTracking value declared in the privacy manifest is false.
10. Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Since no personal data is collected on a server we own, your rights to access, rectification and erasure are exercised directly on your device:
- View / edit: everything is visible and editable inside the App (families, children, shifts, log, payments).
- Export: use the PDF invoice generation feature.
- Delete: remove families, children, shifts or payments inside the App, or uninstall Nannly to erase all local data.
11. Minors
The App is not intended for use by minors. Information about a cared-for child (first name, allergies, medications, routines) is entered by an adult (parent or nanny) and stays exclusively on that adult user's device.

Any material change to this policy will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this document.
