FAQ
How does Kubu work?
Kubu lets you enter a trip, its participants and each person's expenses, then computes who owes whom and how much.
Is my data shared?
No. All data stays on your iPhone (SwiftData). Kubu makes no network request.
How do I delete all my data?
Uninstall the app.
How do I share a trip summary?
On the summary screen, use the "Save to Photos" button. Kubu will then request photo library access to add the generated image.
Why does Kubu ask for photo library access?
Only to save the summary you explicitly chose to save. Kubu never reads your existing photos.
Are Kubu's calculations binding?
Calculations are provided for information only. You are responsible for verifying them.
Common issues
The app does not open
Restart your iPhone. Update iOS and the app.
My data appears to be missing
Uninstalling the app deletes all data. Make sure you're on the right device.
The summary doesn't appear in Photos
Check the Photos permission in Settings > Kubu.
