Summary
All your hives, visits, harvests, treatments and photos stay exclusively on your device (local storage). Kombix uses an anonymized usage-analytics tool (PostHog) to measure overall app usage and improve the product. No personally identifiable data is collected by this tool.
1. Who we are
Kombix is an iOS mobile beekeeping logbook (visit tracking, harvest, varroa treatments and feeding), distributed by an independent developer.
2. Data collected
Kombix collects no personal data.
The only data stored is:

No other data is processed.
3. Network and third-party services
Kombix uses PostHog, a usage-analytics service, to measure anonymized app usage events (app opened, hive added, screen viewed, paywall shown, subscription purchased or restored, etc.). These events contain no personally identifiable data (no name, email, location, or hive/visit content). Data is hosted in the European Union (PostHog EU servers) and used solely to improve the product. No advertising SDK, no advertising tracker, no reselling of data to third parties.
Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync in the App settings, your data is synced via your own Apple iCloud account (private CloudKit) across your personal devices. This sync is fully managed by Apple. Alexandre Paul has no access to this data. iCloud is disabled by default.
4. System permissions

No location, microphone, contacts or other permission is required.
5. Photos
Photos you capture or import are stored in the App's private container (relative paths). They are never transmitted to a server. They are locally compressed to limit storage usage.
6. Exports (P1)
PDF / CSV exports are generated locally and shared via the iOS share sheet, at your initiative. Kombix has no access to recipients.
7. Trackers and advertising
Kombix uses PostHog as an anonymized usage-analytics tool (see section 3). No advertising network, no advertising tracker.
8. Rights (GDPR)
Since no personal data is collected by the developer, your rights to access, rectification and erasure are exercised directly on your device:
- View / edit: everything is visible and editable inside the App.
- Export: use the PDF / CSV export features (P1).
- Delete: remove hives/visits/harvests/treatments inside the App, or uninstall Kombix to erase all local data.
9. Minors
The App is not specifically intended for minors and collects no data.
10. Changes
Any material change to this policy will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this document.
