Privacy Policy — Goldfall
Last updated: 2026-09-16
1. Summary
Goldfall is a single-player idle coin-pusher game. It works without an account or sign-up, and the developer collects no personal data. Your progress is saved on your device (and in your private iCloud space). The only data processed by a third party is processed by Google AdMob, and only when you choose to watch a rewarded video.
2. Who we are
Goldfall is an iOS mobile app distributed by an independent developer, Alexandre Paul. Contact: alexandrepaul06800@gmail.com.
3. Data collected
The developer collects no personal data: no name, no email address, no phone number, no contacts, no location, no photos. No account is needed to play.
| Data | Where it is stored | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Progress (coins, platforms, upgrade tree, achievements, settings) | On your device, plus a copy in your private iCloud space (key-value storage) if iCloud is enabled | Resume your game, recover it after reinstalling or changing device |
| Anonymous gameplay statistics (guide step reached, platform built, session length…) | In a local file on your device | Balance the game |
The developer has no access to your iCloud space. The statistics file contains nothing that can identify you and is never transmitted. Uninstalling the app erases the local data.
4. Permissions
The app may ask, at your initiative, for:
- Local notifications, to let you know when the hold is full and for a daily reminder. They are generated on the device, with no server.
- App Tracking Transparency, only to allow Google AdMob to use the advertising identifier (see section 5).
Goldfall requests no access to location, camera, photos, microphone, contacts or Apple Health. You can revoke each permission at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Third-party services
Google AdMob (rewarded videos)
The game offers optional rewarded videos: you choose to watch a video to get an in-game bonus. No ad is forced on you.
These videos are provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). To display them, AdMob processes technical device data (model, iOS version, language, approximate IP address) and, only if you allow it in the iOS "Allow Apps to Request to Track" prompt, the device's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline, videos remain available, just less personalised. You can change this choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In-app purchases (Apple)
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees or stores your payment information.
Game Center (Apple)
If you are signed in to Game Center, your maximum depth and number of heritages may be published on Game Center leaderboards, managed by Apple. You can turn Game Center off in iOS Settings.
iCloud (Apple)
The copy of your progress is stored in your personal iCloud space, managed by Apple.
No external analytics tool, no social media integration.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
Since the developer holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on the developer's side. To erase local data, uninstall the app; to erase the iCloud copy, delete Goldfall's data in your device's iCloud settings. For data processed by Google AdMob, refer to Google's privacy policy.
7. Children
Goldfall is not specifically aimed at children under 13 and the developer does not knowingly collect any data about them.
8. Changes
If this policy changes substantially, the update date at the top of this document will be updated.
