Terms of Use — Elflo

1. Acceptance

By using Elflo (the "App"), you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Service description

Elflo is an iOS mobile application for Secret Santa draws. It lets you enter a list of participants, perform a draw and distribute assignments either in person on the organizer's device or remotely via personal links.

3. License

Alexandre Paul grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license. Also subject to Apple's standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

4. In-app purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases or subscriptions may be offered in the future. They will be handled by Apple's App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple.

5. Acceptable use

No illegal use, no reverse engineering, no circumvention of protections.

6. Intellectual property

The App belongs to Alexandre Paul. Names, budgets and notes you enter remain your property.

7. Remote sharing and third-party messaging

When you use the remote sharing feature, the personal links (containing an AES-GCM encrypted token) are shared via communication channels you choose yourself (SMS, email, instant messaging). Elflo has no server receiving or storing these links. You are responsible for the channels used and for how recipients use them.

The encryption applied provides "anti-curiosity" protection suitable for a gift exchange among friends or family; it is not military-grade security.

8. No warranty

The App is provided "as is", without warranty of absence of errors or fitness for purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

Subject to applicable law (French law governing), Alexandre Paul's liability is limited to the amount paid for the App (zero if free).

11. Changes

These terms may be updated.

12. Governing law

French law. French courts have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection rules.
