FAQ

How do I create my group?

On first launch, name your group (e.g. "Tuesday U13"), pick a sport (or "Other activity" to enter your own freely), then add your first players.

How do I add a player?

From the "My group" tab, tap the "+" button top right, enter the name, level (1 to 5) and position if your sport offers one.

How do I generate teams?

From the "Generation" tab, choose the mode (Warm-up for several small groups, Match for opposing teams), the number of teams, then tap "Generate". Uncheck absent players first from "My group".

What is post-generation locking?

A Compo Pro feature. After a generation, long-press a player to pin them to their team, then tap "Regenerate": only unpinned players will be redistributed.

Does Compo handle sports without fixed teams?

Yes, by choosing "Other activity" when creating the group, you can enter any activity (table tennis, chess, padel...). A ranking/Elo mode between players is planned for a future version.

Is Compo Pro a subscription?

No. Compo Pro is a one-time purchase, valid for life, priced at EUR 2.99.

I already paid, how do I restore my purchase?

In settings, tap "Restore my purchase". Your purchase will be recognized on all your devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

How do I share a composition?

From the "Generation" tab, after generating a compo, tap "Share the compo" (Compo Pro feature) to send it as an image via Messages, e-mail or any other channel.

Does Compo work without internet?

Yes. Creating the group, adding players and generating teams work offline. A connection is only used for anonymous usage analytics and to process a Compo Pro purchase.

Common issues

The app won't open

Force-quit and restart your iPhone. Update iOS and the app.

My players disappeared

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data stored on the device. Also check you haven't simply unchecked their presence for the session.
