Summary
ClairPeau is a skin-tracking journal that runs entirely locally on your iPhone, with no account and no backend. Your daily check-ins, progress photos and routines are stored exclusively on your device, never sent to a server, never shared with a third party, never used for advertising.
1. Who we are
ClairPeau is an iOS app distributed by an independent developer, Alexandre Paul. Contact: alexandre-paul@outlook.com.
2. Data stored
The following is stored exclusively on your device (local SwiftData database, enhanced file protection):
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Daily check-ins (perceived skin state, affected zones, symptoms, trigger factors, free note) | Build your journal and history |
| Progress photos | Visually compare your skin's evolution over time |
| Morning/evening routines and their completion tracking | Help you stay consistent |
| Preferences (chosen tracking duration, goal) | Adapt how the app is displayed |
This data is never sent to a server, neither the developer's nor a third party's. ClairPeau includes no usage analytics SDK and no advertising. You can delete your data at any time from the app's settings, permanently erasing your entire local history.
3. Photos
Progress photos are taken via the camera or imported from your photo library, only at your initiative. They are stored locally in the app's folder (enhanced iOS file protection) and are never uploaded to a server.
4. Export
ClairPeau lets you export your history as CSV or PDF, only via iOS's native share sheet (AirDrop, mail, Files, etc.). You alone decide where that export goes; the app itself never sends it anywhere.
5. System permissions
ClairPeau may request access to the camera (to take a progress photo) and the photo library (to import an existing photo). No other permission is required: no location, no notifications, no contacts.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
Since all your data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted, you keep full control: you can view, export or fully delete it at any time from the app (Settings > Delete My Data). For any question, contact alexandre-paul@outlook.com.
7. Changes
This policy may be updated; the date at the top of the page reflects the latest change.
