Purpose

Canicule Bébé (published internationally as "Baby Heat Safety" / "Bebé y Ola de Calor" / "Baby Hitzewelle") estimates heat risk for a baby or young child, at home and while out, based on their age, your home, and the weather at your location. By downloading or using the app, you accept these terms.

Nature of the information provided

Heat statuses, outing windows, room temperature projections and warning signs are indicative estimates, calculated from public weather data and information you provide. They never replace medical advice. The app never provides a diagnosis. If in doubt about your child's health, contact a healthcare professional or emergency services without delay.

Subscription (Premium)

Canicule Bébé offers a Premium subscription, available monthly (€3.99/month) or yearly (€24.90/year). Real-time heat status, nap mode, the stroller outing checklist, the hydration journal, the home heatwave checklist and warning signs remain free, no subscription required: this is safety content, never gated behind Premium. Premium unlocks: multiple children, multiple homes, and the pediatrician PDF export.

Payment is charged to your App Store account upon purchase confirmation. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, for the same amount. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Purchases can be restored from the app.

Location

Canicule Bébé uses your location to estimate the real felt weather around your child's home. You are solely responsible for enabling or not this permission in your device settings.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Canicule Bébé lawfully. No reverse engineering, no bypassing of protections. You are responsible for the information you enter about your child and your home.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Canicule Bébé is a decision-support tool, provided "as is", with no guarantee of absolute accuracy of the weather estimate or indoor temperature projections. To the extent permitted by French law, Alexandre Paul's liability is limited to the amount paid for the subscription. No liability for indirect or consequential damages, including decisions made solely on the app's estimates without consulting a healthcare professional when needed.

Termination

You may stop using Canicule Bébé at any time by deleting the app. Subscription cancellation is handled exclusively through Apple's settings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
